Clarus Education Ltd is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as SEN Support Assistants. This role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex learning challenges.

Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks)

Daily Schedule: 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Compensation: £90 - £100 per day

About the Role: We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to support our students in their learning journey. Ideal candidates will have experience working with young individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other complex learning needs.

Our institution prides itself on fostering a creative and nurturing environment, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality education and experiences. We are a two-form entry Primary School located in a vibrant area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in creating an engaging learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care and educational needs.
  • Promote positive behavior and encourage participation in activities.

Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of Literacy and Numeracy.
  • A relevant educational background (CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).
  • A genuine interest in working with students with moderate to complex learning difficulties.
  • Previous experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant skills will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to undertaking personal care responsibilities as needed.
