About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Lead to join our team at Gordon Murray Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our performance cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supplier Development: Work closely with suppliers to develop and improve their quality processes, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits at supplier facilities to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Communication: Communicate quality issues and progress to internal stakeholders, including senior management and engineering teams.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to suppliers and internal teams to enhance quality knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to supplier facilities and other locations as required.
