Position Overview:

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to contribute to cyber technology initiatives within the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape future technology projects and programs by collaborating with a dedicated team to drive transformation.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering, clarifying, translating, and communicating the essential requirements needed to enhance our current technology services.


Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate across various departments to understand stakeholder requirements, align these needs with functional capabilities, and facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and the project or program team.


System Analysis and Clarification:

Assess existing applications and processes through technical specifications, process flows, and system maps. Identify strengths and areas for improvement, working with teams to propose viable solutions.


Requirements Definition and Prioritization:

Clearly translate stakeholder needs into both functional and non-functional requirements that can be utilized by the project team. Apply prioritization frameworks to assist in scope definition and contribute to scope-related decisions.


Support in Solution Development:

Collaborate with the project team and technology partners to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that these solutions align with business needs.


Coordination and Reporting:

Generate comprehensive reports and visual aids to support project decision-making. Provide teams with contextual insights through research and analysis, ensuring quality assurance throughout the delivery cycle.


Qualifications:

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional, are preferred.


Experience:
  • Extensive experience as a senior business analyst on complex IT projects and programs is essential.
  • Familiarity with cyber security frameworks, processes, and tools is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in delivering technical solutions.

Skills:
  • Strong background in requirements definition and system modeling for technology service management.
  • In-depth understanding of modeling techniques (e.g., use cases, activity diagrams) and various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen intellectual curiosity, capable of challenging assumptions and providing detailed analysis.
  • Solid understanding of technology services and project interdependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to define and establish a framework for managing change (e.g., scope changes).
  • Capacity to collaborate with engineers and architects to translate program-level requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Comfort in working independently with end users and managing ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
