Job Title: Junior SCADA Engineer

Location: Wokingham

Salary: £34,000-£38,000

Contract: 12-24 month Fixed term contract, working full time on site

Pontoon is seeking a Junior SCADA Engineer to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period. Creating cleaner, greener systems that serve generations to come. You will be aspiring to be a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) engineer. This system is a critical national infrastructure for the real-time operation of the electricity transmission system, ensuring safety and system security standards are always maintained.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining data, displays, and network models, including data analysis, testing, drawing displays, and implementation of changes. These analysis tools are used in the Electricity National Control Centre and are critical to the safe, secure, and economic operation of the electricity transmission system. You will also be responsible for assisting the Systems, Support, and Insight Team on projects, supporting lead engineers as required.

The successful candidate will be undertaking extensive training as part of this role.
