Job Title: Children's Senior Residential Support Workers

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Children's Senior Residential Support Workers to join our team at Moxie People. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide high-quality support to young people aged 14 and above, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being within a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent care and support to young people, ensuring high levels of emotional and physical care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and external partners/services.
  • Key work with young people using psychological/trauma-informed practice.
  • Implement a child-centered, kind, and empathic approach to support.
  • Follow a robust safeguarding process.
Requirements:
  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within safeguarding frameworks.
  • Ability to understand the impact of trauma on children and young people.
  • Effective risk management in a responsive and calm manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • DBS on the update service or ability to complete a new DBS check.
What We Offer:
  • Permanent contract.
  • Full-time hours (35 per week).
  • Competitive salary (£25,788 unqualified, £28,035 qualified).
  • 47 sleep-in rates.
  • 2 weeks annual leave, rising to a maximum of 6.6 weeks, plus bank holidays.
  • 8% pension after qualifying period.
