Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join our dynamic team in Warwick. This role involves assisting in the installation of artistic pieces for our commercial clientele, which includes high-end hotels and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a skilled team of fabricators, artists, and technicians to produce a variety of artistic elements.
  • Engage in daily workshop activities, working on diverse projects that require both creativity and technical skills.
  • Execute tasks ranging from basic fabrication to complex projects such as resin casting and CNC cutting.
  • Adhere to project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Participate in internal project management to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A practical mindset with the ability to approach tasks independently as skills develop.
  • Familiarity with various materials, including wood, metal, and plastics, along with the associated workshop machinery.
  • Experience in manual work, vocational training, or an apprenticeship is preferred.
