We are seeking a skilled Roadside Mechanic to join our team at RAC. As a Roadside Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are safely repaired and back on the road as quickly as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, from basic mechanical issues to complex electrical and diagnostic problems.
  • Work independently, using your technical expertise to resolve issues and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
  • A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license.
