About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Charlton Lodge, a luxury Care Home in Wantage. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of nutritious and diet-sensitive meals for residents
  • Develop and implement menu designs and plans that meet the needs of our residents
  • Manage stock control and adhere to food cost guidelines to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Train, supervise, and develop a team to help them reach their full potential
