As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Client Engineering team, spearheading essential technical assurance initiatives. This position involves overseeing the design and execution of Onshore, Marine, or Crane systems for critical Client projects, focusing on the modernization and refurbishment of plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team: Foster collaboration to achieve high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Assist the Client Project Manager: Supervise consultants and contractors to guarantee project success.
  • Develop and manage project scopes: Define project requirements and conduct assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with BIM/CAD teams: Ensure that designs align with project specifications and stakeholder expectations.
  • Review and approve project documentation: Maintain excellence in project drawings and documentation.
  • Oversee construction activities: Ensure adherence to design specifications during project implementation.
  • Facilitate meetings and design reviews: Guide discussions to achieve project milestones.

Essential Attributes:

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status or the ability to achieve chartered status through continued professional development.
  • Preferred background in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.

Experience Required:

  • Project engineering experience, including site implementation and integration, within a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of compliance with legislation and standards in a regulated industry.
  • Experience in producing technical documentation such as reports, specifications, and technical queries.
  • Ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Basic health and safety training for site visits.
  • Familiarity with nuclear safety cases is desirable.
