M Group Services, a leading provider of essential infrastructure services, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Engineering Services Teams, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including the investigation and detail design of clean and wastewater networks, civil engineering, and other projects related to the water industry.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate all activities and tasks within the project to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and projects comply with CDM 2015 Regulation and other relevant industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Communication: Liaise with internal departments, clients, and third parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Education: Educated to A levels or BTEC National.
- Experience: Experience of using MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as AutoCAD 2D/GIS software.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of water hydraulic network systems, CDM 2015 Regulation, and process safety.
- Skills: Ability to demonstrate initiative, work independently, and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
