About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Educator to join our team at Protocol Education. As an English Teacher for Secondary Level, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to students in a diverse urban setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and teach fun and interactive English language lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel welcome and supported.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans, share best practices, and maintain open communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional growth, staying up-to-date with curriculum developments, and participating in training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a diverse urban setting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective classroom management, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
