Project Manager - Design and Projects

Actemium Design UK, a multi-discipline engineering design consultancy, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Whitehaven. As part of VINCI Energies, we deliver robust solutions to our customers on mission-critical and strategically important projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of projects, including financial performance, benefits realisation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Report to the Actemium Design UK Sector Manager with overall responsibility for the market segments in which the project relates.
  • Manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and interests.
  • Develop, maintain, and apply quality management processes for project activities and outputs.
  • Ensure appropriate contracts are in place and aligned with Actemium Design UK governance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an HNC/HND qualification in project/business/commercial management or in an engineering/technical subject.
  • Several years' experience in a project management role.
  • Full membership of the Association for Project Management (APM).
  • APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of project or portfolio delivery with a value circa £2m per annum.
