Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year + Vehicle, depending on experience

SWG Construction (Build & Renovate) Ltd, a leading construction company, is seeking a qualified Gas Safe registered heating and plumbing engineer to join our team on a directly employed basis. This role is critical to support our ongoing roof replacement projects.

Job Details:

  • Role: Gas Safe Heating and Plumbing Engineer (LPG & OFTEC Registered)
  • Type: Direct Employment (Full-Time)
  • Location: Welshpool and surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

  • Safely lock off gas boilers, including LPG and oil systems, while roofers work around flues.
  • Recommission and test boilers at the end of each working day.
  • Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe, LPG, and oil safety regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Be on-site at specific times to align with the roofing schedule.

Requirements:

  • Must be Gas Safe registered.
  • LPG and OFTEC registration are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in heating and plumbing, particularly with gas, LPG, and oil boilers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Must be able to commit to being on-site at specified times as required.
