About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team at Calex UK (Learning & Development). As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our learners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for various technical topics, including vehicle electrics and diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training content.
  • Conduct training sessions in a variety of formats, including classroom, workshop, and virtual classroom settings.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to learners to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and effective.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification, such as City and Guilds 1, 2, or 3, or a National crafts certificate.
  • Good level of technical knowledge, particularly in vehicle electrics and diagnosis.
  • Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
