About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Grower to join our client's team in the UK protected salad industry.

The successful candidate will support the Glasshouse Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the glasshouse, with a focus on developing the competency to relieve the Glasshouse Manager during leave and weekend rotations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Glasshouse Manager in all key aspects of glasshouse operations
  • Develop the competency to relieve the Glasshouse Manager during leave and weekend rotations
  • Gain empathy with the crop and production techniques
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have relevant growing experience and a strong understanding of crop production techniques.

They will be living and working close to Middlesbrough in North Eastern England, with the stunning Yorkshire Moors and Pennines nearby.
