Bilfinger UK stands as a prominent engineering and maintenance service provider, delivering support across various sectors including chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage. Our mission is to enhance asset efficiency, ensuring high availability and minimizing maintenance expenditures.

We are currently seeking 2x 3D CAD Engineers and 1x 2D CAD Engineer to integrate into our established team for an ongoing mechanical and electrical package within a nuclear setting near Reading.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience & Qualifications

Essential Criteria


• A minimum of a Degree, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance

• Strong organizational skills

• Comprehensive understanding of all stages of a project life cycle

• Ability to tackle engineering challenges pragmatically and efficiently, collaborating with electrical engineers to ensure the integrated design meets operational specifications

• Proficiency in using 2D/3D drawing software, preferably AutoCAD

• Capability to interpret detailed technical specifications

• Knowledge of PLCs and familiarity with electrical safety principles, including the 18th Edition and BS EN standards

Desirable Attributes


• Experience in highly regulated sectors

• Familiarity with ISO standards

• Current Security Clearance
