SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school with a GOOD Ofsted rating.

This role involves working closely with a child who faces learning challenges and behavioral difficulties, providing 1:1 support across various year groups. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You will be part of a supportive team that offers guidance and assistance as needed.

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in working with children with autism, whether in educational or care environments.

Your responsibilities will include aiding students in their academic, personal, and social development. While this position can be demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding.

The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as positivity, patience, and a sincere interest in nurturing children with special educational needs.

All pay rates mentioned include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.

We provide FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training for all our staff. All candidates must have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
