Job Summary

Action Mental Health is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to support the recovery of individuals with mental ill health through the effective planning and delivery of accredited employability and personal development programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accredited training in employability and personal development to individuals with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement tailored programmes to meet individual needs and promote progression towards further education, training, or employment
  • Provide group training sessions and one-to-one support to individuals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and supportive service
  • Contribute to the development of new programmes and services
Requirements
  • Relevant RQF Level 3 qualification
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs or other disadvantaged groups
  • Evidence of delivering training in a group setting
  • Full current driving licence and access to a car (or alternative travelling proposals for applicants with a disability)
Skills and Qualities
  • Training delivery and adult education
  • Mental health awareness and group training
  • OCN accreditation and programme development
