Job Description

At Wayman Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the development of a strong foundation in science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the curriculum standards and promote student learning and growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other assessments, providing constructive feedback and support to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance, communicating effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in Science.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and valid teaching certification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a passion for science.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
