Our IT infrastructure is critical to our operations, and we are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to join our 3-person IT team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintaining our robust and secure IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing software and hardware projects, running various projects such as deploying and automating updates to in-house software, MDM management, Intune management, Office 365 administration, migration to Azure, and upgrade to Windows 11. The IT Manager will also be responsible for leading all Cyber Security management and remediation, managing patching hardware, operating systems, and software, and managing the IT Technician(s) and overseeing the helpdesk as necessary. The role requires a high level of commitment, with a positive outlook to maintain and improve our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will report to the Head of IT and contribute to the IT strategy. The ideal candidate will have generalist IT infrastructure skills, including Microsoft Server and Client (10+), Clustered Microsoft Hyper-V, and proven capability managing networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Project Management skills are also essential. A driving license, car, and willingness to travel to UK sites as required are necessary. Good planning and time-management skills, as well as effective communication with colleagues across the business, are also required. Beneficial skills include Microsoft SQL and any structured scripting or programming language experience. The package includes a competitive salary of between £45k-55k based on qualifications and experience, 23 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays, hybrid working pattern (up to 2 days per week working from home), generous contributory pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme, Health Assured scheme access, professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills, a supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance, and free on-site parking.
