Laundry and Wardrobe Operations Manager

The Peninsula London is seeking an experienced Laundry and Wardrobe Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the hotel's linen, guest laundry, and staff uniforms, working closely with the Executive Housekeeper and the Director of Rooms.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the quality and upkeep of all hotel linen, including F&B linen and uniforms, ensuring cleanliness and maintaining inventory.
- Provide exceptional guest laundry services, meeting the highest quality and service standards.
- Oversee the management of hotel uniforms, including quality, issuance, and inventory control.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all laundry and valet-related areas, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Manage the relationship with the outsourced laundry company, ensuring quality and minimizing discrepancies.
- Create a laundry program to generate revenue and minimize costs.
- Oversee relationships with contractors, such as chemical suppliers and outsourced laundry companies, to ensure quality and cost control.
- Lead and develop a diverse laundry and valet team, providing coaching and training.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Laundry Manager in luxury hotels.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to create revenue streams and control costs.
- Proven people leadership and training experience, with a track record of managing diverse teams.
- Self-starter with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
