Job Duties
The following outlines the primary responsibilities associated with this role, though specific tasks may vary based on the team or location:
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to food hygiene, including HACCP, personal hygiene, and cleaning protocols.
- Clean all surfaces using appropriate techniques to eliminate dust and debris.
- Replace and clean curtains and blinds as necessary.
- Maintain hard floors through daily cleaning and mopping.
- Empty, clean, and restock waste bins, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
- Clean internal glass surfaces and ledges.
- Maintain sanitary areas to a high standard.
- Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
- Respect the privacy and dignity of patients while performing Facilities duties.
- Clean beds and replenish bed linen as required.
- Clean furniture and restock consumables such as paper towels and soap.
- Adopt a flexible approach, as you may be required to work at any Trust site.
- Ensure proper storage of all items.
- Issue and collect inpatient menus.
- Collect, wash, and return crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils as needed.
- Collect and return water jugs.
- Assist with the collection and delivery of goods.
- Utilize electrical cleaning equipment as necessary.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages as required.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.
Desirable
- Basic Health & Safety certification.

Experience
