About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Collections Team Leader to join our team at Informa. As a key member of our credit and collections team, you will be responsible for leading a team of credit controllers and collectors to ensure that all monies owing to Informa are collected within credit control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team with full end-to-end responsibilities for all credit and collections activities, including collections, reporting, legal processes, etc.
  • Minimise any unallocated cash items sitting on your team's accounts
  • Collect all monies owing to Informa within credit control policies and procedures to ensure that collection targets are met
  • Manage complex disputes and escalate higher-level disputes to the Credit and Collections Manager
  • Point person for accounts that require final demand letters and/or need to be turned over to third-party collection agencies
  • Month-end reporting/Ad Hoc reporting/Requests
  • Internal/External Audit Support
Requirements
  • Experience managing credit control teams
  • Knowledge of acquisitions and disposals
  • Solid at building relationships with stakeholders within and outside of the organisation
  • Strong people manager who actively engages and embraces talent management conversations
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential
