NMS Recruit Ltd is on the lookout for skilled Audio Visual Systems Technicians with a robust background in 100v line systems to join a prestigious organization within the Audio Visual Retail and Hospitality sector.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional installation and service support in various locations, ensuring that all operational guidelines are meticulously followed for both system setups and maintenance tasks, while meeting the expected quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

- Independently executing sound system installations and service calls based on provided plans and specific work instructions, or collaborating as part of a two-person team with another engineer or subcontractor.

- Promptly communicating with the Operations team or Project Manager regarding any challenges encountered on-site.

- Adhering to client protocols when visiting sites, including proper check-in and check-out procedures.

- Conducting thorough fault diagnosis of audio and audio-visual system issues, and accurately reporting findings to the technical team, along with recommendations for unresolved issues.

- Securing necessary approvals from the technical support team to extend on-site service time if required.

- Acting as the lead engineer on installations when designated by the Project Manager.

- Completing all necessary documentation accurately, including marking up plans and ensuring timely submission of paperwork to the office.

- Assisting fellow engineers in the field, which may include transporting equipment to job sites.

- Maintaining precise inventory records and stock levels of essential equipment in the company vehicle.

- Completing all required health and safety documentation.


Required Experience

- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an audio visual installation or service role with exposure to 100v line systems.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Physically capable of handling equipment installations, including navigating parking restrictions that may require carrying equipment manually to the site.

- Comfortable working at heights.

- Possession of a valid driving license, ideally held for over five years.

- Willingness to travel away from home as needed and at short notice.

- Experience working on construction sites.

- Familiarity with the use of power tools, hand tools, and cutting equipment.

- CSCS/ECS Card and Asbestos Awareness qualification preferred, though training will be provided.

- IPAF/PASMA and Working at Height certifications are advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be available.

- Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet client needs, which may include early morning or late evening shifts.
