We are seeking a skilled Disability Assessor to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the functional abilities of individuals and providing detailed reports to support their claims.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a qualified Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic to utilize their clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills in a supportive environment. You will work autonomously, with support from colleagues and the clinical management team, to conduct telephone assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).

Main Duties
  • Conduct thorough telephone assessments to evaluate claimants' functional abilities.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence to provide detailed reports.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and the clinical management team to ensure high-quality assessments.

Essential Requirements
  • Registration with the NMC or HCPC with no restrictions.
  • One year post-registration experience in a relevant clinical setting.
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate various IT systems.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
