We're seeking a Disability Assessor to join our team at Medacs Healthcare, where you'll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to assess and report on the needs of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

As a Disability Assessor, you'll work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality functional assessment reports for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) scheme. You'll use your clinical knowledge and expertise to assess patients and provide detailed reports on their functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices

Requirements
  • Current and unrestricted NMC/HCPC registration
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) qualification
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Typing proficiency and IT system navigation skills
