Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Prescribing Paramedic to join our multi-professional team at Farnham Park Health Group. As a key member of our primary care team, you will work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing autonomous clinical care to patients presenting with undifferentiated symptoms, from initial history taking to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of patient care, being self-motivated, and having the ability to work as an individual or part of a small team as necessary.
  • Developing and maintaining their own clinical skills to ensure clinically safe practice is delivered at all times.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Paramedic qualification and experience in working in primary care.
  • An MSC or equivalent qualification and Independent Prescriber status.
  • Experience in a primary care setting and a positive attitude to change and development.
