The Role: Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in the North East. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities by maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance activities on production machinery and ancillary equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using engineering drawings, schematics, and machine manuals.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks (PPM) according to scheduled intervals.
  • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and records.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Proven experience in maintaining production machinery, including fault finding on control panels with PLCs, VSDs, and relay logic circuits.
