Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at AWD online. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's final products meet compliance to legal standards and meet customer expectations to the agreed Quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the respective department head to ensure continuous improvement through RCA and 5 Why analysis
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations for the products made and the site health and safety policy
- Supervise coordinators, inspectors, and other staff and provide guidance and feedback for Quality improvement
- Oversee all trial product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis of products with scope
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate managers and plant management
- Ensure effective feedback to all customers on any complaints in a timely and effective manner and ensures all corrective actions are completed in agreed timeframe
- Continually supports opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures to ensure Quality compliance
- Ensures all team members are trained to carry out their job role and works closely with all department heads to ensure all team members are trained in quality compliance for their respective department
Requirements:
- Extensive proven experience as a quality manager ideally from a plastics manufacturing background
- Conscientious and responsible with a culture of continuous Quality improvement
- Proficient in MS Office
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
- Excellent maths abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods and the ability to identify trends and react accordingly
- Degree Qualified or equivalent in a relevant Quality discipline is essential
