Shift Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

PROMAN is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in South Manchester. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our site.

About the Role

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, performing planned and reactive maintenance, and contributing to equipment and process improvements. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth running of the site and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to breakdowns and perform maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  • Conduct planned maintenance to prevent equipment failures and optimize performance
  • Carry out reactive maintenance to address unexpected issues
  • Contribute to equipment and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Document all works on our CMMS system
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • HNC or relevant engineering qualifications as a minimum
  • NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent (preferably in electrical maintenance)
  • Electrical or multiskilled with an electrical bias
