Operations Manager

Job Summary:
D7 Recruitment is partnering with a leading Health and Safety Consultancy to find an experienced Operations Manager to lead project delivery and business development. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing projects, client portfolios, and ensuring smooth operational delivery in line with the company's business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring timely and profitable delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at both project and director levels, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to generate accurate proposals for projects, working closely with other Operations Managers to ensure projects are adequately resourced and delivered on time.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, managing teams and performance reviews during the project, and leading formal people management processes such as performance reviews, absence management, and disciplinary meetings.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance, working closely with the Management team, and engaging third-party contractors on projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management, planning, and organization, with a strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- IT literate, with proficiency in common business software, and a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification, and a NEBOSH Diploma qualification.
- Ability to adapt and contribute in a dynamic environment, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills, with a commitment to taking ownership of tasks.
