Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at mod IT Services GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage corporate IT infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Provide technical support to staff, both on-site and remotely, for issues related to IT infrastructure, software, and hardware.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard processes and procedures, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement improvements to our IT infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in configuring and managing IT infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ticket management systems, and a strong understanding of IT service management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, and a strong understanding of its administrative features.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, and a strong understanding of their features and benefits.
  • Experience with JAMF and Microsoft InTune MDM platforms, and a strong understanding of their features and benefits.
  • Experience with IT asset management, and a strong understanding of its importance in IT service management.
