We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Skills Cover Tutor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a Cover Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Functional Skills training to learners in a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Functional Skills training to small groups of learners, developing their skills, knowledge, and behaviors.
  • Support learners in setting and achieving their long-term goals and aspirations.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans to meet the needs of learners.
  • Provide guidance and advice to learners as needed.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of training delivery.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
  • Substantial experience in delivering training, preferably in a prison or education setting.
  • Expertise in Functional Skills and a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Ability to display a range of training methods to engage learners.
  • Desirable: teaching or assessing qualification.
