Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Operations Manager to join our team at Evri. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our night shift warehouse operations to ensure seamless and efficient parcel processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of supervisors, night loaders, sorters, and drivers to process parcels delivered from client sites into smaller geographic areas for delivery to the final customer.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the night operation, including managing labor costs, overtime usage, and agency usage to achieve agreed service levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cost, service, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Adhere to the legal requirements of the 'O' Licence.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
