Key Responsibilities- Work with the Property Operations Manager to shape every aspect of the visitor experience, ensuring it is informed by our unique history and atmosphere.
- Plan and deliver a programme of events that cater to regular visitors, locals, and new audiences, with a focus on creating engaging and inspiring experiences.
- Lead on marketing, volunteering, interpretation, and signage, ensuring high standards of presentation and service throughout the site.
- Collaborate with the house, garden, and estate teams to understand our spirit of place and ensure a cohesive visitor experience.
- Supervise volunteers and line manage the Visitor Experience Officer, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences.
- Experience of delivering inspirational engagement activities to varied audiences.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality interpretation or marketing material, with a keen eye for visual design and an understanding of its application in the heritage sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of an audience-led approach and the ability to evaluate and use feedback to further develop an offer or experience.
- Experience working to multiple deadlines and managing your own workload, with a strong focus on organisation and planning.
