Job Description

**Job Title:** Regional Finance Director

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled Regional Finance Director to join our team at Ark Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and management to our schools in the South London region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Financial Planning and Management:** Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to ensure the financial sustainability of our schools.
  • **Team Leadership:** Lead and manage a team of finance staff to provide high-quality financial services to our schools.
  • **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and present financial reports to the Schools Finance Director and other stakeholders.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for our schools.
  • **Financial Compliance:** Ensure that our schools comply with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
  • **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Requirements:
  • **Professional Qualifications:** Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • **Experience:** Proven experience in financial leadership and management, preferably in an education setting.
  • **Skills:** Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • **Leadership:** Proven ability to lead and manage a team of finance staff.
  • **Communication:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
