Job Title: Data and Retailer Insights Manager

The Data and Retailer Insights Manager will be responsible for investigating and analyzing sales data and processes for the UK Sales team, with the goal of increasing efficiencies through the use of Systems/IT resources. This role will involve setting up and/or streamlining internal systems and processes to create accurate sales reporting and analytics across key systems in the business, supporting the sales team in fully understanding account behaviors.

The Data and Retailer Insights Manager will also ensure proper processes and documentation surrounding sales reporting, working closely with sales staff to provide visibility and commentary on sales reporting, and providing a vital link with the Finance and IT departments. This role is crucial to sales and publishing strategies, providing clear analytics and commentary on numbers.

The UK Sales team that this role will support sells titles from across the Adult Consumer, Children's, Special Interest, and Head of Zeus divisions.

This role will report to the UK Adult Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain sales reporting and analytics systems, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Work closely with sales staff to provide visibility and commentary on sales reporting, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT departments to ensure seamless integration of sales data and systems.
  • Provide clear analytics and commentary on sales numbers, supporting sales and publishing strategies.
  • Manage systems that directly affect the UK Sales Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales staff, Finance, and IT departments.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and respond to user needs in rapidly changing business environments.
  • Advanced Excel user.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks at all times.
  • Previous experience working with and presenting data.
