Job Description

Social Lens Studio is seeking a skilled Freelance Operations and Project Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Take ownership of project management for key content creation work processes, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with our Director to streamline existing processes, making them more efficient and effective.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with team members and freelancers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation: Document project work processes to maintain consistency and ensure client project delivery runs smoothly.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assist the Director in filling role openings on new project work.

Required Skills:

  • Team Management: Experience managing teams, budgets, and resources, preferably in an online content or digital marketing environment.
  • Process Simplification: A knack for making complex processes more simple and efficient.
  • Process Documentation: Experience setting up and documenting new work processes, and keeping them running smoothly.
  • Team Scaling: Experience scaling teams and processes, preferably remotely.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Notion and Google Drive products.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and extremely strong attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: A pro-active working style and the ability to work and communicate effectively while working fully remotely.

Desirable Skills:

  • Video Production: An understanding of video production or documentary production.
  • Project Management Tools: Knowledge of and experience with other project management tools you can recommend to the team when appropriate.
  • Marketing Funnels: Familiarity with building marketing funnels.
  • Non-Profit Experience: A passion for working with non-profits and ensuring everyone is treated fairly in the process.

Essential Requirements:

  • Equipment: Have your own laptop/computer and reliable internet.
  • Eligibility: Be registered to carry out client work and be eligible to collaborate with a UK company.
  • Experience: Have experience managing projects and streamlining operations, preferably in a marketing or content agency environment.

Remote Work: This role is fully remote, with the exception of team meetings, which will be organized during UK working hours. We are flexible on when you complete your work as long as deadlines and responsibilities are met.

Compensation: The rate for this role is £850-950/month DOE (inclusive of VAT).
