As the Assistant Care Home Manager (Nurse / RGN / RMN), you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational management of the care facility, ensuring that we consistently deliver exceptional care services.
Your responsibilities will include supervising care staff and stepping in to manage the home in the absence of the Manager. You will also be tasked with training and mentoring staff, conducting pre-admission assessments for residents, maintaining accurate care plans and records, and fostering effective communication with families and external organizations.
About the Care Home:
This facility is registered to accommodate up to 48 residents, offering nursing, residential, and dementia care, with a particular focus on end-of-life care. The home has received outstanding reviews from both residents and their families, reflecting our commitment to prioritizing the needs of those we serve.
We are dedicated to providing the highest standards of care, ensuring that residents are at the heart of everything we do.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager.
- NMC PIN - (Nurse / RGN / RMN).
- Strong ability to engage with residents to assess their needs and deliver high-quality care.
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and the care team.
- Capability to encourage active participation of residents and their families in the development and evaluation of care programs.
