About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Forensic Nurse Specialist to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a key member of our custody suite team, you will provide high-quality healthcare to detainees, working closely with police officers and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services to detainees, including assessments, treatments, and care planning.
- Collaborate with police officers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with detainees, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration.
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field.
- Valid driving license and ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
- Police vetting and UK residency for 3 years or more.
