Academic Research Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Research Officer to join our dynamic team at the University of Leeds. As a Research Officer, you will play a key role in our exciting project exploring children's food and beverage choices in school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection, including working with children, to gain insights into their food preferences and behaviors.
- Engage with stakeholders in schools to understand the complexities of food choice in educational settings.
- Contribute to the development of research findings and publications, working closely with our interdisciplinary team.
- Travel to Jamaica for up to 18 weeks to conduct fieldwork and collaborate with international partners.
Requirements:
- A positive approach to collaborative research and a passion for understanding children's food choices.
- An interest in behavioral science and its application in improving food choices in schools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality research outcomes.
