About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Link Volunteer, supporting our mission to extend our reach and build strong community links.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in events and engage with groups to raise awareness of dementia and our services.
- Identify individuals affected by dementia who can share their story with their community and with us.
- Signpost people to access our services and provide support.
Requirements:
- Experience of speaking a South Asian language is beneficial.
- Connections with the local South Asian Community are desirable.
- Ability to commit up to 6 hours per week.
