Annualized hours contract equating to 0.5FTE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, attending, and documenting 16 meetings annually, alongside general governance administration and participation in various events such as student awards and graduations. Committee meetings are conducted remotely, while Board meetings are held in person. Meetings typically commence at 15.30 or later and last for approximately two hours.
Key Responsibilities
The Lead Governance Administrator will report to the Executive Assistant and collaborate closely with the Director of Corporate Governance to deliver effective administrative support to the Corporation, which includes:
- Taking minutes and distributing action points from Board and Committee meetings;
- Preparing agendas, reports, and meeting materials in accordance with corporate standards;
- Managing the dissemination of information and documentation in line with corporate protocols;
- Overseeing the Business Schedule and Calendar of meetings;
- Coordinating diaries of key Governing Body members and facilitating meetings between Governors, Committee Chairs, and Executive leads;
- Assisting the Director of Corporate Governance with governance-related initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Qualifications / Training / Experience
- GCSE A*-C in Mathematics and English;
- Qualified to A 'level or equivalent standard;
- Skills and Aptitudes (must be able to demonstrate the following to a high standard)
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Ability to draft agendas and precise, concise minutes;
- High level of literacy;
- Proficient IT skills (the Lead Governance Administrator is expected to utilize a laptop for real-time minute-taking during meetings);
