Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join their team as an Emergency Services Assistant. This is a 6-month ongoing contract position based in Suffolk, working in a busy Control Room as part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide strong administrative support to the service area and management team, dealing with customers, internal departments, and external agencies on a daily basis. This will involve:
- Monitoring of closed-circuit television (CCTV)
- Co-ordinating response to the Home Emergency Alarms Response Service (HEARS)
- Taking out-of-hours calls from members of the public and external bodies
Day-to-Day Tasks:
The Emergency Services Assistant will be based at the main Council Offices and will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to the HEARS service, including:
- Managing customer inquiries and complaints
- Coordinating with internal departments and external agencies
- Providing administrative support to the management team
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, and educated with Maths and English qualifications. Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, with significant call handling experience.
