Clinical Lead GP Opportunity at Thornton Road Surgery

Thornton Road Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to take on the role of Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious GP to lead and manage the practice, driving improvement in performance and delivering high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with the Practice Manager to achieve all CQC, local, and contracted requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve practice performance, including quality and safety initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and AHPs, to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure that all incidents and safety events are investigated and reported, and that a strong safety culture is maintained.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice's clinical strategy, including the implementation of new services and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a General Practitioner with a strong clinical background.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
