Sales Ledger Assistant Opportunity

Reed Accountancy & Finance is seeking a highly skilled Sales Ledger Assistant to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing business on the outskirts of Lisburn, providing support to the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, issue, and record invoices
  • Post receipts from various payment methods, including cash, cheques, credit transfers, and card payments
  • Collect and post payments by Direct Debit
  • Reconcile ledgers and analyze debtors
  • Carry out credit control on all debtors ledgers
  • Respond to queries and provide excellent communication skills
  • Compile bank lodgements and take lodgements to the bank
  • Manage credit control processes
Requirements:
  • 12+ months of sales ledger and credit control experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Xero software and MS Excel
  • Ability to commit to the duration of the contract
