We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and engage in social activities.

About the Role

This is a 10-hour per week position, with the opportunity to work additional hours on a flexible basis. You will be required to work Monday 9am-7pm, with the possibility of working two extra days per week on a 13-week rotation.

About the Client

Our client is a kind-hearted and active individual who enjoys crafts, knitting, and socializing. They require support with personal care, medication administration, and mental health support. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for accompanying them to various outdoor venues, including shopping, coffee shops, and the theatre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration of medication
  • Personal care and support
  • Mental health support and advocacy
  • Accompanying the client to appointments and social activities
  • Administrative duties, including record-keeping and communication with family members
Requirements
