About the Role

The ideal candidate will likely be a recent VP promotion (VP1-2, possibly VP3) with impressive FIG transactional experience in a well-regarded investment bank or boutique. Key verticals include Banking and Insurance, with a preference for UK FIG experience.

This leading global full-service investment bank boasts a strong FIG team, handling large-cap, multi-geography cross-border M&A, capital market, and financing deals. Key duties centre on:

  • Assistance with origination and management of execution of ongoing deals within the group (e.g. M&A transactions, strategic advisory etc)
  • Working with senior bankers on the delivery of strategic advice to clients, including:
    • Strategic idea generation
    • Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials

Candidate Criteria

The successful candidate must have:

  • High-calibre FIG expertise and deal experience
  • Client-focused skills, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
  • Ability to develop, coach, and motivate junior members of the team
  • Ambitious, driven, and commercial mindset
