Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Leidos UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating contracts with our customers, ensuring that our business interests are protected and that we deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contract terms and conditions
  • Lead contractual interactions with customers, including negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Represent the Contracts team at customer meetings and provide updates on contractual issues and resolutions
  • Manage and draft customer communications in support of programme delivery
  • Own contract management and compliance activities for programmes
  • Proactively manage customer disputes and complaints
  • Provide timely commercial advice to project and delivery teams
  • Review and develop operational process flows
  • Ensure financial aspects and impact of contracts are clear to all parties
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customer commercial/contracts teams

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a pressurized environment
  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status
  • Extensive experience of managing commercial and contractual elements of contracts
  • Strong negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Liaison with other Leidos operating units and corporate departments
