Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Conveyancer to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our property department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the smooth processing of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Residential Conveyancing: Ensure due diligence in all areas of processing a residential property transaction, including leaseholds, freeholds, registered and unregistered properties.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Demonstrate knowledge of the law relating to residential property transactions and provide accurate advice to clients.
  • Manage Transactions: Handle sales, purchases, re-mortgages, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and other schemes.
  • Research and Analysis: Undertake necessary research to provide correct advice and maintain the highest level of client service.
  • Client Relationships: Establish good working relationships with colleagues and assist with department workflow when required.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a team on other client projects and build client relationships by sharing the firm's ethos of providing exceptional client care.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in residential conveyancing and a strong knowledge of the law relating to residential property transactions.
  • Strong Research Skills: Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet billing targets, with strong research, organisational, and time management abilities.
  • Excellent Client Service: Excellent client service skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
